GASDUC III pipeline will join the station at the Cabiúnas Terminal, in the Macaé district, in the Rio de Janeiro State, with the Compression Station named REDUC II, placed in Duque de Caxias district, for the transport of natural gas. It will be composed by 28″ pipe to take the gas until the refinery

The aerophotogrammetric surveying has been presenting as an effective methodology to the cartographic bases generation seeking the development of pipe strips implantation projects. Starting from the products generated by the photogrammetry was possible to define the best positioning to implant new pipe, as well as to accomplish the tasks of cadastral surveying of properties reached by the new enterprise.
Two Aerophotogrammetric flights were foreseen, being one at the scale 1:10.000 and another in the scale 1:6.000.

Photogrammetric Flight

The Aerofotogrammetric Flights originally foreseen to be accomplished in the 1:20.000 and 1:6.000 scales, due to the adoption of the digital methodology to take the images, were scheduled to be obtained using the pixel size in the ground (Ground Sample Distance – GSD) with 40cm and 15cm, respectively. This definition was adopted seeking the final products foreseen at scale 1:10.000 (Basic Project) and 1:1.000 (Strip and Cadastral Maps).

Cadastral Surveying

GASDUC III crosses eight districts at the Rio de Janeiro State, being: Macaé, Rio das Ostras, Casimirio de Abreu, Silva Jardim, Cachoeiras de Macacu, Guapimirim, Magé e Duque de Caxias. Seeking to establish the strip of domain that it will be compensate by PETROBRAS, is accomplished the cadastral surveying of non public areas and areas for agreements. In this stage was considerate about 2.300 units of non public areas and 270 units of areas for agreements (city halls, concessionary).
For the development of the cadastral activities in the field were installed three offices: one in the Casimiro de Abreu district, other in Macaé and the last one in the Magé district.

The cadastral data obtained in the field surveying were sent to processing at the ESTEIO headquarters in Curitiba City, where they were inserted in CADPROP, that is a cadastral software of properties developed by PETROBRAS. The information are presented in individual Cadastral Records and Descriptive Memorial of the property, that will be used to evaluate, negotiate and to regularize the domain strip over the property.
