Services Performed
ESTEIO S.A. executed the location, geographic positioning, mapping and inspection of the coating in more than 3.000 km of pipes in various regions of the country.
The efforts were executed aiming at obtaining the actual position of the pipes (As-Built) in the ranges and the conditions of their coating.
Methodology
The Methodology adopted to execute these services is similar to the one presented in the service performed in the State of RJ.

The location, geographic positioning, and mapping services of existing pipes were performed in various pipe lines located in the Southeast, Center-Western and Northeast regions, being:
Final Reports
The results of these verifications were presented in a specific report called RL no. 2. With this report, Petrobras got to know the status of part of the Cathodic Protection System and, from there on, appropriate repairs could be provided to perform location services.
After the conclusion of the positioning services, a second report was elaborated, called RL no. 1. containing the low isolation points of the pipe, identification of the regions with significant current attenuations, its grading in three levels (minimum), depth in meters of points measured, N and E coordinates of the current’s measurement points and terrain share.
Final Maps
Map and profile drawings (Digital Orthophotomaps) of the pipe lines with the respective pipes located in the range were delivered in digital medium, georeferenced and ready to be inserted into the GIS.
Results
The final result of this work has the purpose of supporting Petrobras regarding the actual position of the pipes in the ranges and their coating conditions. This knowledge will allow the implementation of new pipes, replacement of troubled sections, improvements in the Cathodic Protection system, in addition to a higher level of safety in any construction, repair or maintenance activity along the line.
