UTG South Capixaba will be built at Anchieta. This unit will receive gas from Parque das Baleias and Parque das Conchas, in the Southern Seashore of the State of Espírito Santo.

Gas processed in the UTG South will be submitted to the Cabiúnas − Vitória Gas Pipe (GASCAV), which already crosses the entire South of the State, so, then, it can be supplied to the market. The unit, which will become operational in 2010, will have processing capacity of 2.5 million cubic meters of gas per day.

ESTEIO was hired by PETROBRAS to perform topographic and cadastral surveys in the UTG SOUTH range, which enabled the definition of the best drawing for the future work.

Planialtimetric and altimetric topographic surveys were executed in a single step.

Two Aerial Photogrammetric Coverages were foreseen, one in 1:20,000 scale and another one in 1:6,000 scale.

Planialtimetric survey comprises the set of operations needed to determine X and Y coordinates of the terrain’s features (fences, rivers, roads, etc.);

Altimetric survey comprises the set of operations needed for a three-dimensional representation of the terrain’s features (X,Y and Z).

The survey area in the UTG SOUTH range was 9.8 km wide with a 65 meters width;

Field surveys followed Safety, Environment and Health Standards established by PETROBRAS;

Topographic and cadastral surveys enabled the generation of products as Cadastral Forms, Individual Specifications and Maps in 1:1000 scale.
