In the City of Joinville, ESTEIO executed Digital Cartography services in 1:2,000 scale based on an Aerial Photogrammetric Coverage in 1:8,000 scale.

Simultaneously, it performed the cadastral update of urban real estate and activities, with Field surveys of approximately 120,000 existing real estate units.

In addition, within the central area of the city, a Geographic Information System pilot Project was created matching the 1:2,000 cartography with telephony, sanitation, power, real estate cadastre and urban services graphic data and database.

Various benefits obtained with these services include, mainly, the substantial increase in tax collection and the consolidation of the GIS implementation process in the City Hall.

Main activities and products obtained in this service are highlighted below:

    • Image Chart obtained in the flight in 1:50,000 scale;
    • Cadastre of more than 120,000 urban real estate with Cadastral Information Newsletter;
    • Densification of Field Survey in the city of Joinville;
    • Aerial Photogrammetric Coverage in 1:8,000 and 1:50,000 scale;
    • Planialtimetric Maps in 1:2,000 scale.
