ESTEIO executed specialized Ground Photogrammetry technical services for the dimensioning of the structure of one of the cranes in the jack-up platform Petrobras-IV, located at the São Roque do Paraguaçu − BA Site.
Services basically consisted of photo shoots, photogrammetric support, aerial triangulation, photogrammetric capture, determination of node points, wind bracings, pipes diameters and their three-dimensional coordinates.
This service was made necessary since the crane had no original drawing (“as built”), which makes it difficult or impossible to analyze its structure.
Photogrammetric Capture enabled the reconstitution of the project and the current deformations of the crane and the results of this reconstitution served as input data for a program to calculate the efforts endured by the equipment after being deformed.
